Install guide
Add LeadLoop to your website
After signing up, open Sites & widget in the dashboard, set your WhatsApp number and copy the snippet. It looks like this:
<script src="https://leadloop.gemresearchlabs.com/w.js" data-key="pk_your_site_key" defer></script>
Where to paste it
- WordPress: Appearance, Theme File Editor, footer.php before the closing body tag. Or use any "header and footer" plugin.
- Shopify: Online Store, Themes, Edit code, theme.liquid before the closing body tag.
- Wix, Squarespace, Webflow: Site settings, custom code, footer.
- Static HTML: anywhere in the page, ideally at the end of the body.
What the widget does
- Shows a floating WhatsApp button in the corner you choose, in your colour.
- In form mode it asks for a name and a short message first, then opens WhatsApp. In direct mode it opens WhatsApp immediately.
- If enabled, it also tracks clicks on WhatsApp links that already exist on your page, so old buttons keep working and start reporting.
- It reads UTM parameters and the referrer to work out the traffic source.
Tracked links
Create a tracked link in the dashboard and use it in your Instagram bio, Google Ads, email signature or on a QR code. Each click is recorded with its source before the customer lands in WhatsApp.
Matching chats to leads
The first message a customer sends starts with a reference such as [LL-7KQ4M]. Search the dashboard for that code to open the lead, or use the mini form so the name is already there.
